1. Penalty and takeoff
The whistle blew and Barça were desperate to get possession. Hansi Flick 's eleven included Ansu Fati due to Eric Garcia 's unexpected absence during the warm-up and brought Pedri on alongside Casadó to build up the play. Sevilla were strangely 'shy' about pressing in the Blaugrana half. García Pimienta 's men gathered their lines close to their area but that defensive plot lasted 23 minutes. When Peque committed the innocent penalty on Raphinha , the psychological torment began for Badé , Marcao , Carmona ,Pedrosa , Gudelj , Agoumé ; even Lukébakio and Ejukebecame second full-backs. A lot of protection for Nyland but against a Barça that, with Lewandowski 's 1-0, brought precision, pace, runs and punch to the service of the team. And there was no way to stop Flick 's ball-players when they became effervescent. Raphinha was coming in from all sides , Lamine was drawing half of Sevilla in and Ansu was joining up with Lewandowski waiting for the longed-for finish. Pedri and Casadó 's football control was excellent and the enjoyment of the attacking front was constant. There is a big difference between the leader and Sevilla.
